In the co-main event of this weekend’s UFC 198 card, former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort (25-11 MMA, 14-7 UFC) faces off against former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jacare Souza (22-4 MMA, 5-1 UFC). This 3-rounder acts as the co-main event and the warm up to the highly anticipated main event between Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic. The official UFC rankings place Vitor Belfort at #3 and Jacare Souza at #2.
This fight has all the makings of a barn burner. Both Belfort and Souza are extremely talented and well versed in all facets of the game, this one should really live up to expectations. The main card for UFC 198: Werdum vs. Miocic airs live on pay-per-view on Saturday, May 14th at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.
