Werdum: Fight with Fedor Emelianenko ‘will happen’ because I want it

In March, heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko expressed his interest in a rematch with Fabricio Werdum and revealed that he was negotiations with the UFC.
‘The Last Emperor’ returned from retirement on New Years Eve with a first round stoppage over Jaideep Singh at Rizin Fighting Federation 2. The former PRIDE FC champion has racked up four wins since leaving Strikeforce in 2011 and looked to be in solid form for Rizin’s New Year’s event.
