Truex Jr. Staying Positive

Martin Truex Jr. believes things will start to turn his way after a tough start to the season. The Furniture Row Racing driver can take solace in the fact he’s had strong race cars on a nearly weekly basis so far this year. Unfortunately a series of incidents and bad luck have kept him out of Victory Lane. Last week at Kansas, Truex Jr. led a race-high 172 laps but a broken bolt caused a wheel issue and his hopes for a win were thwarted. All Truex Jr. can do is try to soldier on knowing he has a strong team behind him. “It’s a lot easier than if you weren’t fast and let one slip away and felt like your chances or the opportunity would be hard to get again or it was going to take a while to get that opportunity again,” he said at Dover International Speedway. “It’s definitely easier when you’re running good and you feel like every time you …
