Wanderlei Silva says he ‘could have died’ in recent hit-and-run accident

Former UFC light heavyweight contender Wanderlei Silva recently released a statement on social media after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike earlier this week. Silva, who’s currently signed to Bellator MMA and Rizin FF, claims death was a possibility in the hit-and-run accident, which occurred in Curitiba, Brazil.
“I’m extreme in everything I do. Everybody says that bicycle was dangerous, and I believed that the right of coming and going was the same for everyone, cars, bikes and people, but I felt that it’s not exactly like that.
