Chris Sale continues dominant start to 2016

Chris Sale just keeps winning.
Sale picked up his eighth win of the season in as many starts Friday night as the Chicago White Sox cruised to a 7-1 victory over the New York Yankees.
With the performance, Sale joins Pedro Martinez (1997) and Fernando Valenzuela (1981) as the only pitchers to win their first eight starts of a season while sporting a sub-2 ERA since the mound was lowered in 1969. Both of those pitchers won a Cy Young Award in those respective seasons.
Sale also becomes the fourth player in White Sox history to begin a season with wins in eight consecutive starts.
