One of the most stacked cards in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship goes down Saturday night in arguably the most important countries for MMA: Brazil. UFC 198 will commence inside Arena da Baixada in Curitiba and the blockbuster card will be headlined by the UFC heavyweight championship between titleholder Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic. At Friday’s weigh-ins, the challenger was the first of the main event combatants to step onto the scale. Miocic, who is coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Mark Hunt and former champ Andrei Arlovski, looked as ready as ever as he weighed in officially at (241) pounds.
