Buckeyes sweep aside YSU in NCAA First Round

The No. 4-seed Ohio State women’s tennis shut out Youngstown State, 4-0 in the Opening Round of the NCAA Championship.
The Buckeyes, hosting NCAA first and second round matches for the first time, will take on No. 27-ranked UCLA in the second round. Ohio State, now 29-2 on the year, is looking to make the first trip to the Round of 16 in program history. Ohio State, which has won its last 14 matches, picked up wins on courts one and two in doubles to take a 1-0 lead vs. the Penguins.
