LOS ANGELES — Cardinals center fielder Randal Grichuk robbed a homer for the second time this season on Friday night, leaping at the center-field wall in the first inning to keep the Dodgers from evening the game with a Howie Kendrick leadoff homer.

The highlight grab came one night after Grichuk came down frustrated that he was unable to glove Albert Pujols’ ninth-inning homer. That ball nicked off his glove. This time, he timed his jump perfectly to prevent Kendrick from tallying his first home run of the season.
