‘Jacare’ Souza: Loss to Romero stings, but I’m moving on to take middleweight throne

Things may work out for Jacare Souza in the end. The submission wizard fought Yoel Romero in a number one contenders bout at UFC 194 but lost in a controversial split decision.
Souza’s championship aspirations had to be put on hold, as ‘Soldier of God’ was now next in line to face Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title. However, after a drug test conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency revealed that Romero had tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, the Cuban was immediately suspended (reduced to six months) and removed from the UFC rankings.
