NJSCOOP and $100K Spin & Go Freeroll Kick Off Sunday in the Garden State

The 2016 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) began on PokerStars around the world last Sunday with many players winning big. PokerStars NJ has also recently launched its ring-fenced client in New Jersey, and the site will also be kicking off its own version of the SCOOP this Sunday in what should prove to be exciting for players in the Garden State.
PokerStars NJ is available to anyone that is within the borders of the state while playing, regardless of whether they are a resident or not. Due to this limiting the amount of players that can participate in the poker festival, it is obviously smaller than the one running right now on the global client. But nonetheless, there is plenty of money up for grabs.
The schedule features 27 exciting events from May 15-29, broken out into low and high tiers to create 54 total tournaments. The best part is that there is over $1 million in guaranteed prizes. This differs from the global site’s 55-event schedule broken out into low, medium, and high tiers (155 total tournaments) with over $40 million in guarantees.
The schedule gets right into it, with tons of action straight away on Sunday, May 15. There are five exciting events, or 10 total tournaments, with the second event being the biggest offering — a $100,000 guarantee for the $250 high tournament and a $20,000 guarantee for the $25 low tournament.
