Given 3-game punishment, Ohlendorf appeals

Reds right-hander Ross Ohlendorf has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount, Major League Baseball announced on Friday, after he threw at the Pirates’ David Freese during the ninth inning of Wednesday’s 5-4 loss at Great American Ball Park. Ohlendorf has elected to appeal the suspension.
