Bisping: ‘I have not been offered’ reported UFC Australia main event vs. Whittaker

On Thursday, Bloody Elbow’s Tim Bissell reported news of the UFC looking at a potential main event bout between middleweight contenders Michael Bisping and Robert Whittaker. The fight would have a November target date and take place in Australia, where the UFC had previously booked them for last year’s UFC 193 in Melbourne, but Bisping had to withdraw due to injury.
Since their originally scheduled matchup fell through, Whittaker has beaten Uriah Hall and Rafael Natal (both by unanimous decision), while Bisping scored a thrilling and dramatic decision victory over Anderson Silva. That memorable win has put Bisping in prime position …
