Andy Murray produced a stellar performance to down David Goffin 6-1, 7-5 in the quarter-finals of the 2016 Italian Open on Friday.

After being broken in the very first game of the match by Goffin—who beat Tomas Berdych 6-0, 6-0 in the third round—Murray put in a solid, sometimes stunning, display to claim victory in 95 minutes, and he will face France’s Lucas Pouille in the semi-finals.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic faces Rafael Nadal later on Friday in the third quarter-final, while Kei Nishikori and Dominic Thiem meet in the other last-eight clash.
