Cyborg on Holly Holm turning down fight: They say they want it, but really they don’t

Cristiane Justino, otherwise known as Cris ‘Cyborg’, is not surprised with Holly Holm and other women’s bantamweight contenders opting not to fight her at UFC 198.
The Invicta FC featherweight champion, who will make her UFC debut on Saturday in a 140-pound catchweight fight against Leslie Smith, is used to opponents changing their minds at the last minute. In fact, she understands exactly why ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ rejected the bout.
According to Cyborg, team Holm is focused on the quickest route to a 140-pound title shot, and they know that a fight with Justino could ruin their plans.
