LOS ANGELES — As it turns out, the Mets’ pitching muscle is not limited to Bartolo Colon.
Noah Syndergaard homered in each of his first two at-bats Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, accounting for all of the Mets’ first four runs against the Dodgers.
Leading off the third inning against Kenta Maeda, Syndergaard launched his first home run of the season over the right-center-field fence, giving the Mets a 1-0 lead.
