David Ferrer to Play European Open’s Maiden Edition

World no. 9 David Ferrer announced his participation in the inaugural edition of the European Open, to be held in Antwerp, this year. Ferrer made the announcement shortly before his first round match against Italian qualifier Filippo Volandri in the Rome Open.
