2016 NFC West NFL Betting Preview: Seahawks Headline Division Super Bowl Odds

The NFC West has made appearances in three of the last four Super Bowls and has sent two members to the playoffs in each of the last four seasons. And two members of the division rank among the top five betting choices to win the Super Bowl this season. Here’s a post-draft update of Super Bowl 51 odds at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark for the NFC West teams.
Seattle Seahawks (+850)
Following consecutive Super Bowl appearances, the Seahawks fell in the divisional round last year at Carolina. Now, heading into this season, even after losing running back Marshawn Lynch, Seattle tops the betting on many Super Bowl 51 boards. The Seahawks ranked fourth in the league last year in total offense and second in total defense, and young Thomas Rawls, as long as his ankle is fine, looks like he might fill Lynch’s shoes nicely.
