Edelman Undergoes Surgery Wednesday, May 11

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news. It’s not clear when the surgery took place, but Schefter described it as a “cleanup procedure.”

Edelman suffered a broken foot in Week 10 against the New York Giants and proceeded to miss his team’s final seven regular-season games. New England lost four of those contests after starting the campaign 9-0 with him lining up at receiver.
