Ogogo back after career stalled by injuries

British middleweight Anthony Ogogo turned pro with fanfare after claiming a bronze medal in the 2012 Olympics, but his career has been stalled by injuries.
He has fought only eight times since turning pro in April 2013 — four times in 2013 and only three in 2014 — because of injuries. He did not fight between July 2014 and July 2015, also because of injuries, and he has not fought since for the same reason.
But now, the 27-year-old Ogogo (8-0, 4 KOs) is ready to go again and will return May 28 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, where he will appear in a six-rounder against an opponent to be determined on the undercard of the vacant junior welterweight world title bout between Ricky Burns (39-5-1, 13 KOs), of Scotland, and Italy’s Michele Di Rocco (40-1-1, 18 KOs).
