Davies looks to build off first win of season

MIAMI — Zach Davies needed something good to happen on Tuesday night. The odds were certainly against him and the Brewers, facing Marlins starter Adam Conley, who threw 7 2/3 innings of no-hit ball the last time he faced the Crew.
But maybe things are starting to turn around for Davies. His team gave him plenty of run support and knocked out Conley after four innings, coming away with a convincing 10-2 win, evening the three-game series.
Davies went five innings, allowing five hits and just two runs. He walked three and struck out one. Of his 82 pitches, 43 were strikes.
