ESPN’s College GameDay and the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship Megacast took home two of the nine Sports Emmys claimed by the network Tuesday night in New York.
College GameDay, the Saturday staple setting up the day’s college football action, won its third consecutive — and sixth overall — Emmy for Outstanding Weekly Studio Show. The National Championship Megacast won for Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage.
