Jones isn’t celebrating 3 RBIs against Twins

MINNEAPOLIS — Perhaps Tuesday night will be remembered as the game Adam Jones turned the corner.
Jones, who entered batting .200 with one homer and nine RBIs, homered and drove in the go-ahead runs on a two-run single with two out in the ninth inning of a 5-3 win over the Twins at Target Field.
“Bus leaves and John Russell and I were here, and you hear this thump down in the cage. Adam’s here last night after everybody left,” manager Buck Showalter said. “He doesn’t like to, he wants to be as good as he’s capable of. And that’s a feel-good. He’s got a great way about him, not taking himself too seriously, but you know it’s kinda been grinding on him. He really cares.
