Rubby rolls, as surging D-backs tame Rox

DENVER — Right-hander Rubby De La Rosa sailed through 7 1/3 innings as the D-backs sent the Rockies to their seventh straight home loss, 5-1, at Coors Field on Tuesday night.
De La Rosa allowed one run and four hits while striking out six. His work kept the Rockies quiet until the D-backs could erupt for four runs off Rockies starter Chris Rusin in the sixth, as Welington Castillo and Chris Owings delivered doubles. Castillo added his eighth homer of the season, a solo shot off Gonzalez Germen, in the seventh.
