Indians giving Brantley few days of rest

HOUSTON — Michael Brantley wasn’t in the starting lineup for Tuesday night’s game in Houston, and the team will likely give him Wednesday’s day game off as well, Cleveland manager Terry Francona said.
Francona said Brantley’s shoulder isn’t bouncing back as well as they’d like, as he’s just played 11 games since returning from offseason surgery on his right shoulder. Cleveland also has an off-day on Thursday, giving Brantley three days of rest.
