Souness: Ban West Ham ‘morons’

Graeme Souness says the people who attacked Manchester United’s team bus are “morons” and deserve to go to jail for a long time.
West Ham’s farewell game at the Boleyn Ground was delayed by 45 minutes on Tuesday night after the Manchester United bus was prevented from arriving at the stadium.
Supporters outside the ground threw cans and bottles at the vehicle, smashing windows and causing significant damage – and Sky Sports pundit Souness did not hold back in his criticism of those responsible.
“The Premier League has got such a profile around the world and it will make headlines unfortunately,” Souness said.
“It will be a handful of people, who don’t possess grey matter in their heads.
“They are fools. Just think of it. You throw a brick or a bottle and it smashes a window. These are professional athletes. A bit of glass goes in someone’s eye and you lose an eye and it finishes their career.
“These are morons. I hope they catch them with the CCTV that is out there now and ban them forever. Go to prison …
