90s band Smashmouth: Keep Lynch out of HOF

The case for Marshawn Lynch as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be an interesting one. He’s just 36th all-time in rushing yards (barely above Matt Forte) and 24th all-time in rushing touchdowns.
But in the playoffs Lynch is eighth all-time in rushing yards (937) and seventh all-time in rushing touchdowns (nine). The only person above him in either playoff category not in Canton is Terrell Davis. He was the centerpiece on offense for a borderline dynastic Seahawks team.
Some people would tell you he should be in and other people, like the guys in the band Smash Mouth, will tell you no bleeping way.

Weird Smash Mouth — goofy ’90s alt-soft-ska band made famous by songs Walkin’ on the Sun and All-Star — would be so impassioned about whether Lynch is a Hall of Famer.
