Tigers hoping to get rehabbing Maybin in center

WASHINGTON — The waiting game continues for the Tigers to get Cameron Maybin into their outfield. While Maybin’s rehab assignment continues at Triple-A Toledo, he continues to be limited to designated-hitter duties.
Maybin made his fourth consecutive start at DH for the Mud Hens on Tuesday night. The plan, according to manager Brad Ausmus, is to get him in center field for the Hens on Wednesday.
