Mousasi on Machida’s failed test: ‘I’m not a rocket scientist, but I knew’ 7-keto-DHEA was banned

Maybe Gegard Mousasi had a point. A few months after he fought Lyoto Machida, the Iranian-born Dutchman reflected on the fight. At the time it seemed like he was searching for excuses for a loss. Mousasi dropped a unanimous decision to Machida in the main event of the UFC’s trip to Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, a result he suggested may have been aided by Machida putting “oil in his body” and fighting without the “newer drug policy.”
Without much in the way of evidence, those claims didn’t seem to hold a lot of water.
