Roger Federer Unsure of Playing Rome Opener on Wednesday

Expectations of wanting to finally see Roger Federer in action, in Rome, might have to wait awhile longer.
The Swiss, who had a practice session in Rome earlier today, apparently isn’t certain of playing his second round match tomorrow, as it’d been previously scheduled. Federer’s to meet Alexander Zverev in his Rome opener, who defeated Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets in their first round match on Monday evening.

Federer’s first practice session in Rome was on Saturday, 7th May. The Swiss had been late by over an hour for the same, though did clarify that he was held because he was signing autographs. The delay didn’t however deter the crowd that had been gathered in record numbers. …
