Curry’s OT outburst

It was only a matter of time, really. Stephen Curry came off the bench in his playoff return in Portland in Game 4, and while it took him a little time to get going, eventually the dam broke. The Golden State Warriors received a big fourth quarter and overtime from their soon to be back-to-back league MVP.
Curry ended up helping the Warriors come back from a double-digit deficit and then buried the Portland Trail Blazers in this game with his old tricks. He knocked down a 3-pointer with 1:51 left in overtime to put the Warriors up 123-118. And he had a message to the crowd in Portland. He’s back.

There was a point in this game in which Curry was rusty and his 0-of-9 from 3-point range showed it. Through the first three quarters of Game 4, the Golden State Warriors’ star was cold. Not the cold-blooded shooter we’re used to seeing. He was freezing cold. He made just six of his first 18 shots from the field and that 0-of-9 from deep felt like eerie music building suspense in a horror film.
