Hadavi, Rubin Pick Up ITA Northeast Regional Awards

Eric Rubin of the Columbia men’s tennis team picked up the Most Improved Player award and Shawn Hadavi was honoured as the Player to Watch as the ITA announced its Regional winners today.
The Most Improved Player award goes to a senior who bursts onto the scene in his final season. Rubin did just that, going 13-3 in singles play. After earlieronly taking part in Ivy League doubles matches during his rookie campaign, Rubin became a model of consistency at the No. 3 and 4 singles spots.
