Torpegaard and Joyce claim ITA Midwest Regional Honours

Sophomore Mikael Torpegaard and Freshman Martin Joyce won the ITA Midwest Regional honours. Torpegaard, the country’s top-ranked singles player, was named the region’s Player to Watch while Joyce was named the Rookie of the Year.
Torpegaard is the fourth Buckeye to be named the ITA Midwest Player to Watch, joining the likes of Phil Metz (2001), Steven Moneke (2007) and Bryan Koniecko (2008). The Denmark native has put together quite …
