Red Sox ride Bradley’s slam, 6-run 4th to win

BOSTON — The Red Sox had a batting barrage on Monday night at Fenway Park, riding a monster night by Jackie Bradley Jr. to a 14-7 victory over the slumping Sonny Gray and the Oakland Athletics.

Bradley’s three-hit night included a grand slam and six RBIs as he ran his career-long hitting streak to 15 games.

With a 4-1 lead through three innings, Gray had a golden opportunity to emerge from his early-season funk. Instead, things only got worse for him.

The Red Sox chased Gray in their breakout fourth inning, in which they sent 11 batters to the plate. Gray (3-4, 6.00 ERA) was pounded for eight hits and seven runs over 3 2/3 innings.
