Cashner good to go for Friday’s start

CHICAGO — Feeling no ill effects from the hamstring cramp that forced him to exit Sunday’s outing early, Padres right-hander Andrew Cashner will make his next scheduled start, on Friday in Milwaukee.
“He feels great,” said manager Andy Green on Monday. “There’s no issues at all. I was just talking to him not too long ago. He just cramped up running first to home.”
Cashner went back out for the top of the sixth inning and threw four pitches before exiting, having allowed three runs on nine hits against the Mets.
Cashner did not allow a first-inning run on Sunday, but his ERA in the opening frame is 7.71 — far higher than any …
