Pablo Sandoval responds to those who doubted his shoulder injury

BOSTON — Pablo Sandoval has a message for those who doubted the authenticity of his left shoulder injury.
“People say that I was faking. You [media] said I was faking, the team was faking because they put me on the DL. I don’t fake at all,” the Boston Red Sox third baseman said Monday, six days after season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum. “I can play through pain.”
