John Terry Reportedly Rents Stamford Bridge to Stage Farewell Game

Chelsea captain John Terry is reportedly renting Stamford Bridge for a farewell match after being suspended for the final two games of the current season.
Matt Law of the Telegraph said on Monday the iconic defender has told “friends he is considering a lucrative offer from China” but wants to play at the Bridge one final time after hiring the stadium for a private game with his “closest friends” next Monday.
Law said the ground usually costs £22,000 to rent for a day, but the club has allowed Terry to use the stadium for free in a gesture of goodwill to the outgoing skipper.
