Sources: Kings, Joerger agree to four-year deal

Dave Joerger has an agreement in principle with the Sacramento Kings to become the team’s new head coach, sources told ESPN’s Marc Spears.
Joerger agreed to a four-year deal worth $16 million and the fourth year of the contract is a team option, according to sources.

Joerger quickly emerged Sunday as the top candidate for the Sacramento job after a productive round of talks between the former Grizzlies coach and Kings vice president of basketball operations Vlade Divac.
Joerger’s agent Warren LeGarie, and Kings owner Vivek Ranadive were scheduled to join the process Monday.
