Amir Khan’s biggest fight of his career ended with the heaviest KO loss he’s ever received (and probably will ever receive). Canelo Alvarez uncorked a vicious right hand in round 6 that sent Khan to unconsciousness before his head violently crashed against the canvas.
For Khan, who was an underdog ranging from +275 to +472 at fight night, it was an unsuccessful attempt at moving up two weight classes (welterweight to the bare minimum requirement to make middleweight), and he’s probably going to head back to 147 for a very long time.
