Hassan Whiteside Injury Update: Heat Center Ruled out for Game 4 vs. Raptors

The Miami Heat ruled center Hassan Whiteside out of Monday night’s Game 4 matchup against the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Semifinals with a right MCL strain.
The team had previously listed the center as “day to day” with the knee injury, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has missed over two weeks with an MCL sprain of his own, however, which could be an indication that Whiteside’s return from the same injury isn’t imminent.
