Big Ten Women’s All-Conference Team and Individual Award Winners

Big Ten regular season and tournament champions, Ohio State Buckeyes, had a full share of postseason awards, with 4 players in all-conference team, chose by 14 head coaches. Francesca Di Lorenzo was named both Player and Freshman of the Year, and Melissa Schaub is the Coach of the Year (she won the award last year as well). In addition to Di Lorenzo, other 3 Buckeye girls were also included in all-Big Ten team, Gabriella De Santis, Miho Kowase, and Anna Sanford. Freshman Francesca Di Lorenzo had a dream season, finishing with 11-0 score on the main court position. She spent the entire season among the Top 5 girls in singles, also being ranked 1st in February (first Buckeye ever to be at the top), leading her team towards their first Big Ten Championship and first Big Ten Tournament title.
