Drogba nets in Montreal comeback

Didier Drogba helped Montreal Impact come from behind to draw 4-4 at Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer on Saturday night.
Former Columbus forward Dominic Oduro scored three minutes into second-half stoppage time to give Montreal a share of the points, despite the visitors having trailed 4-1 after 53 minutes thanks to two goals apiece from Kei Kamara and Federico Higuain.
However, the Canadian side responded quickly with two goals in as many minutes before the hour-mark.
Ignacio Piatti was at the center of the Impact’s comeback, scoring twice and winning a penalty that Drogba himself converted for his third goal in just his fifth match so far this season.
And it was the former Chelsea striker who flicked on a cross that Oduro rifled home for the point that left the Impact top of the Eastern Conference.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Japan’s Masato Kudo opened his MLS scoring account to help the Vancouver Whitecaps come from behind to beat MLS Cup champions Portland 2-1 in Vancouver.
