Phillips homers in fourth straight game

CINCINNATI — Brandon Phillips did something Saturday night that he had never done before.
Phillips hit a solo home run with two outs in the third inning off of Milwaukee starter Jimmy Nelson, his fourth homer in as many games for the Reds’ second baseman, to give the home team a 4-0 lead. It is the longest consecutive-game streak of Phillips’ career.
