Kerr: Curry still out, shows progress in 2-on-2

PORTLAND, Ore. — Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed Saturday afternoon that Stephen Curry will not play in Game 3 against Portland, but said that Curry had made progress earlier in the day in an informal session with some Warriors assistant coaches.
“It was [Curry’s] first actual basketball, played two-on-two with the coaching staff,” Kerr said. “He’s doing fine. He’s not going to play tonight.”
