Jamie Redknapp believes Leicester’s performance in their 3-1 win over Everton was the perfect way to put a seal on their Premier League title success.
The Foxes racked up a colossal 33 shots as they swept Everton aside at the King Power Stadium on Saturday Night Football – showing no sign of a title party hangover.
A double from Jamie Vardy, who missed a penalty that would have sealed his hat-trick, and an Andy King strike were enough to put the hosts in the driving seat, before Kevin Mirallas notched a late consolation for the Toffees.
Redknapp was full of praise for the way Claudio Ranieri’s men went about their business, and felt it was a display worthy of the occasion.
