Osuna day to day due to sore groin

TORONTO — Blue Jays manager John Gibbons decided not to use closer Roberto Osuna in Friday night’s 5-2 victory over the Dodgers because he is dealing with a sore groin.
Osuna said after the game that he could have pitched, but Gibbons wanted to take a cautious approach. The injury is not considered serious, but it’s also something that could become a long-term problem if he aggravates the area and makes it worse.
