- Updated: May 7, 2016
Tottenham Hotspur’s title challenge came to an end in the brutal 2-2 draw with Chelsea, but there remains plenty to play for in the final two Premier League fixtures.
Beating Southampton on Sunday would almost certainly secure second place given Spurs’ major goal differential advantage over Arsenal.

Tottenham have enjoyed a sterling run of form against Southampton in recent seasons, but Ronald Koeman’s side are chasing European football for next season and a win in the Pochettino derby would put them right on track.
Team News
When Toby Alderweireld was withdrawn late in the Chelsea draw, he ended his run of having played every minute of Spurs’ league campaign this season. However, he has been declared fit to face his former club.
Danny Rose was also substituted against the Blues, but he too will take his place against Saints.
Nabil Bentaleb remains the only absentee from Tottenham’s first-team squad.
Southampton are in even ruder health with Koeman declaring his entire squad fit for the trip to north London.
