Mets manager Terry Collins: No need to panic about lack of scoring

SAN DIEGO — New York Mets manager Terry Collins has no interest in shaking up his lineup.
Collins bluntly said as much after the San Diego Padres limited the Mets to three hits in a 2-0 win Friday at Petco Park.
The Mets have been shut out twice in their past four games. And Padres right-hander Colin Rea took a no-hit bid into the seventh inning and a shutout bid into the ninth inning in another game during that stretch.
“I think we’ve been swinging pretty good. I think I’ll give it one more shot tomorrow with the regular lineup,” Collins dryly said late Friday.
Collins showed patience when the Mets stumbled to a 2-5 start to the season. …
