NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championships singles and doubles selections revealed

With the battles for the national glory just around the corner, the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Subcommittee has selected the 64 players that will compete in the 2016 singles Championships. 14 players from different conferences have earned the automatic qualifications, with 50 others also with the chance to become the national champion from May 25-30 at Case Tennis Center in Tulsa. Mikael Torpegaard will be the player to beat as the Ohio State Buckeyes star had an amazing spring, being named a Big Ten’s Player of the Year following his perfect 23-0 score (29-2 in total). Also, all other Top 10 players from the latest ITA Men’s Division I rankings will go to Tulsa and that guarantee inch close fights for the biggest title in College tennis.
