Inverness Caledonian Thistle slumped to a 3-2 home defeat to already-relegated Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership on Friday night.

A first-half brace from Simon Murray put United two clear and Edward Ofere added a third 10 minutes after the half-time break. 

Jordan Roberts and Liam Polworth pulled goals back for Inverness before the visitors saw Callum Morris sent off for two yellow cards.

United, who sacked Mixu Paatelainen and told the majority of their first-team squad they could leave this week, were unsurprisingly followed by a sparse away support, apparently fed up with the club’s on and off-field problems.
