Verratti to miss Euro 2016

Italy midfielder Marco Verratti will undergo surgery on a groin injury and miss this summer’s European Championship, his club Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed.
Verratti only returned to action in late April after missing two months of the season because of the injury.
He featured in PSG’s 2-1 French League Cup final victory over Lille on April 23, but has failed to fully recover from the problem he first sustained in February.
